Today, people are living longer than ever before; fewer than 5% of people over 65 opt to go into a care facility; however, more women are in the workforce, thus shrinking the caregiver pool. Ultimately, the question of who cares for the aged, or chronically infirm, is a national dilemma. Here, in Northwest Wyoming, Hands 2 Help, LLC offers a solution. Hands 2 Help, LLC provides caregiver services that supplement the restricted services covered by health insurance companies.
Clients do not have to be home bound, nor is a skilled need required. People may request services on a regular basis such as every Wednesday from 1-5, or whenever help is needed such as when a regular caregiver or family member is temporarily unavailable. Care is also available on a one-time-only basis, such as before or after surgery.
The four levels of service include:

• Nurse Aides provide personal care such as bathing and dressing assistance.
• A Companion provides non personal care services such as letter writing, or assistance with activities of daily living.
• A Skilled Nurse provides more technical assistance, such as wound care or medication administration.
• Lifeline Personal Emergency Response System provides around-the-clock, ready to react, electronic warning devices for standby monitoring. Optional add-on features like medication reminders and assistance with advanced directives.
